Recovery Alliance supports adults in Luton who are struggling with alcohol or drug use. We’ll take the time to listen, understand your needs, and help you set clear goals.

How we can help

Our support is tailored to you, because we believe everyone has the ability to change. You’re not alone. We’re here to help you take the next step.

If you need support with drugs, alcohol or recovery, the Luton Recovery Alliance is here to help. The Alliance is a group of organisations in Luton working together so you can get support more easily and do not have to contact lots of different services on your own.

The Alliance includes Change Grow Live, Community Led Initiatives (CLI), NOAH Enterprise, Citizens Advice Luton, Luton Borough Council and other local partners. Together, we offer treatment, recovery support and practical help in the community.

We work together to make support simpler and easier to understand. Our aim is to help you get the right support at the right time, without having to repeat your story to different services.

Whether you want advice, treatment, recovery support or help with things like housing, money or wellbeing, we are here to support you. We want to help you feel safer, healthier and more confident, and support you to make positive changes for the future.

Community Led Initiatives (CLI) is a lived experience recovery organisation (LERO). If you have experienced addiction, involvement with the criminal justice system, homelessness or mental ill health, CLI is here to support you. We work with you to help you achieve your goals, build confidence and move towards a more positive and fulfilling life.

We believe recovery is stronger when people feel connected and supported. That is why we help build recovery communities where you can meet others, share experiences and take part in activities that support long-term recovery. Our aim is to help you thrive and make recovery more visible in the community.

Peer mentoring
You can access personalised one-to-one mentoring each week from someone with lived experience. This support can help you with relapse prevention, building independence and working towards your personal goals.

Groups
We offer a range of groups where you can meet new people, build confidence and learn new skills. We also run a 10-week recovery course designed to give you the tools and support needed for long-term recovery.

Volunteering
If you want to give back to your community and support others in recovery, you can become a volunteer mentor with CLI and make a positive difference in people’s lives.Top of Form

You may be able to access support from Community Led Initiatives (CLI) if you are ready to make positive changes and can meet with support staff in the community.

CLI can support people with low, medium or high support needs who are not currently experiencing dependent or chaotic drug or alcohol use.

When you are referred, the CLI team will meet with you to understand your needs and make sure the service is the right fit for you.
