Luton Recovery Alliance

A group of diverse people having a conversation

Volunteering with Alliance Clinical and Alliance Care

If you want to help people improve their lives, we would love for you to join our team. Our volunteers make a real difference by offering support, encouragement and understanding.

We welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences, and we are grateful to everyone who chooses to give their time to our charity.

Most of our volunteer roles do not require any qualifications. We will provide all the training and support you need. The most important things are kindness, open-mindedness and a genuine desire to help others.

If you have personal experience with the challenges our services support people with, you may be able to volunteer as a peer mentor. Peer mentors support and encourage people who are beginning their own journey of change.

Volunteering with Community Led Initiatives (CLI)

Community Led Initiatives (CLI) is the lived experience recovery organisation (LERO) within the Luton Recovery Alliance. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and particularly encourage people with lived experience of substance use and recovery, offending, homelessness, or mental health challenges to apply.
