Resources for professionals

If you are supporting someone who is struggling with drugs and alcohol, you can refer them into our service using our professionals referral form. If the person you are supporting is under 25 and you think they may benefit from the support of a young people's service, please refer them to our Coventry Positive Choices service.

We work alongside a range of healthcare professionals to provide prescribing support. We are not an emergency service, but our duty prescriber can be contacted if clinical advice is needed. Call 02476 010 241 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Training

We deliver training and information sessions for our partners interested in developing their drug and alcohol knowledge and awareness. The training is free and available to all professionals and agencies in Coventry.

Most of our sessions are one to two hours long, and can be held either online or face-to-face. They include interactive activities and tasks, information videos, and an information pack to keep after the session.

We also offer pre-recorded information videos around various substance-related topics and the work we do at the service.

Take a look at the available courses, below. We are also able to offer bespoke sessions to meet the needs of your organisation.
