Cambridgeshire Recovery Service (CRS) team

Cambridge Recovery Service is led by those in recovery. We are a Cambridgeshire based community dedicated to helping people in recovery from alcohol and drug use, and to help them find connection and purpose.

We also offer an additional support programme exclusively for those in recovery from substance dependency living within Cambridgeshire.

Street Outreach team

We identify and work with people over the age of 18 in the City of Cambridge.

We help rough sleepers on the street or at the day centre by informing them of the options available.

We start the day at 6:00, pointing people to places where they can get food, showers, and clothes.

STARS

STARS stands for Short Term Alcohol Reduction Support and provide five one-on-one support sessions, which includes a comprehensive initial assessment to better understand your needs and goals. These sessions will primarily be held within a local GP practice, but we can be flexible and offer virtual appointments via telephone or Microsoft Teams for your convenience.

Our approach involves exploring your lifestyle, addressing barriers to change, working with you to set achievable goals, whilst providing informative education on the effects alcohol has, and the benefits of moderating your drinking.
