The EDGE café
The Edge Café is a social enterprise that promotes community-led recovery to support people to make positive changes in their lives. It is run by individuals who are on this journey themselves. The café is run by our team members and incredible volunteers.

Cambridgeshire Recovery Service team
Cambridgeshire Recovery Service is led by people in recovery. This community is dedicated to helping people in recovery from alcohol and drug use, and to help them find connection and purpose.
We also offer an additional support programme exclusively for those in recovery from substance dependency living within the county.

HEaRT team
The Cambridge HEaRT team provides support and assistance to individuals who are homeless and are struggling with drugs and/or alcohol.

Street Outreach team
We identify and work with rough sleepers over the age of 18 in the City of Cambridge. We help them on the street or at the day centre by informing them of the options available. We start the day at 6am, directing people to places where they can get food, showers and clothing.

Take the number 2 bus from the City Centre bus station at 37 Parkside, Cambridge, CB1 1PN. The journey to our office takes about 15 minutes.On foot:

Parking at Brookfields Campus is limited. Alternatively, you can park at Sainsbury’s on Brooks Road, Cambridge CB1 3HP, for up to two hours. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to our office.

Your first visit
We're an open-access service. This means that you don't need an appointment, you can just come in. You'll be greeted by one of our Peer Mentors who can chat to you about how the service can help while you wait for your assessment.
Our welcome group
We have a welcome pod where newly assessed people can learn about what to expect and what's on offer at the service.

Whatever your goal is, we will support you to achieve it.

Drugs
You will get one-to-one support, counselling and have the opportunity to attend groups with people in similar situations to you.

Support for others
It's hard when someone you love is struggling. We will help you learn how you can support them.

At our hubs, you can pick up a SLAM pack. They are safer chemsex packs that are made up of equipment to help reduce the transmission of blood-borne infections like HIV and hepatitis C. They also have advice on keeping yourself safe and other helpful information.
