Be Well with Change Grow Live can support you to stop smoking and quit tobacco products. This service is delivered in partnership with Be Well Tameside.
How we can help
Whether it’s for your health, for your family’s health, to save money, or something else, you're more likely to boost your chances of succeeding with the right support. Through Be Well with Change Grow Live, you will receive:
- Free and flexible stop smoking and tobacco support, either face-to-face or through phone appointments with specialist Quit Advisors to help you find the best way to stop smoking and tobacco for you.
- We will also support you to quit with a range of quit aids such as nicotine replacement therapies (NRTs) and medications (Varenicline, Cytisinicline & Zyban), including a free vape kit.
- Someone to encourage and cheer you on.

Be Well with Change Grow Live is delivered in partnership with Be Well Tameside.
If you would like support to stop smoking or quit tobacco, please fill in the Be Well Tameside online referral form.
Once you’ve filled in the form, someone will be in touch to talk to you about your next steps.
They will explain whether you will receive your stop smoking support from Change Grow Live, or from our partners at Be Well Tameside.
Your quit smoking and tobacco-free journey
Quitting with Be Well with Change Grow Live means you'll chat with a specialist Quit Advisor. They'll get to know you and help you create a quit plan for you to achieve this.
How we will support you to quit:
- You will have an initial assessment. This will last for 30 minutes. We offer these in person at our Hyde office, over the telephone, or at our community clinics around Tameside.
- After your initial assessment, your advisor will support you with follow-up calls or appointments every 2 weeks. We commit to supporting you with the right quit aids for you for up to 12 weeks
- All our staff are fully trained to provide personalised support in your tobacco-free journey
- We can arrange for your NRT and stop smoking medications to be received via your GP or your NRT collected directly from a pharmacy If vape kits are right for you, we can provide these to you directly from one of our community clinics around Tameside or for delivery to your address.
