Drug and Alcohol Service - Kirklees

Support from our family team
Our friendly team will work alongside the person affected by drug or alcohol use and their family during their recovery journey. They will help them to feel empowered and meet their recovery goals.
Our team will also bring the family together to explore how drinking or drug use impacts the person and their loved ones. Early support can be offered to families who are facing challenging times and might need some extra help.
Our family support coordinators will start off by finding out what help is needed and support the family to find solutions and overcome challenges.
The Moving Parents and Children Together Group Programme offers a safe space for families to come together and talk about how substance use has affected them.
The programme aims to support families build on their communication and improve relationships. You can visit The Moving Parents and Children Together Group website for more information.
If you want to know more about the programme, please speak to your recovery coordinator or contact the team on 01484 353333.
