Mentoring Service - Brighton

There are two strands to our service: working with a Peer Mentor and becoming a Peer Mentor. Please note, to access this service, you must have a local connection to Brighton and Hove.

Being matched with a Peer Mentor
If you are homeless, in supported accommodation or a client in the Brighton Recovery Service; we can find a Peer Mentor to support you. They will have lived experience with a background similar to yours, so they'll understand what you are going through. Your Peer Mentor will be able to offer advice, information, and support and we’ll match you with someone we think you'll get along with.

Becoming a Peer Mentor
If you have experienced homelessness and living in supported accommodation, you can become a Peer Mentor. You could also join our team in the Brighton Recovery Service if you have experienced difficulties with substance misuse. You'll support someone who is going through something similar to what you have been through. We will train and qualify you to become a mentor and in turn you'll empower people to change their lives.
