Wirral Ways to Recovery Wins at Merseyside Recovery Awards

Celebrations are underway at CRI’s Wirral Ways to Recovery, commissioned by Wirral Council, as a CRI employee and volunteer scooped awards at the Merseyside Recovery Awards.  Announced at the awards ceremony on Friday (17 July), Mellissa Scarlett ‘Worker Supporting Recovery’ and Penny Watterson, ‘Volunteer of the Year’, won their awards categories respectively. Wirral’s Drug and Alcohol services are taking on a new name and launching their re- brand, on the 1st April 2015. Wirral Ways to Recovery is a Multi-agency partnership, led by national social care and health charity, CRI, and commissioned by Wirral Council. Wirral Ways to Recovery, which opened in February 2015, provides drug and alcohol users with fast and easy access to specialist and bespoke treatment, advice and continuing support. More >
