Mildmay Hospital

Mildmay is a unique, independent charitable hospital with a long history of providing specialist care to the NHS. Our 28-bed hospital offers a person-centred environment where clinical depth and compassionate care go hand in hand.

Our detoxification service is supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team available around the clock. Nursing staff are on site 24/7, and clients receive regular medical review from consultant physicians, psychiatric consultants and GP trainees. Psychological support includes CBT, ACT and cognitive screening and neuropsychological assessment.

Our wider MDT includes specialist substance misuse workers with strong community links, social workers experienced in housing and benefits, a dietician, physiotherapist, occupational therapist and mental health nurses.

Mildmay is based in Shoreditch, east London, with excellent transport links and a calm, therapeutic environment.

We welcome referrals from substance misuse services across London and work closely with referring teams to ensure smooth transition of care
