Service user involvement

Listening to the voices of our service users is of paramount importance to us as a service. We collect feedback from service users at various stages of their involvement in our service.

We make sure that people with lived experience of rough sleeping are also included on our interview panels during the recruitment of new staff. People with lived experience also regularly contribute to important meetings with our commissioners at Brighton & Hove City Council to share feedback and help represent the views and opinions of those who use our service.

Volunteer with us

Volunteers play a key role in supporting the Street Outreach Service with our aim to end rough sleeping. Volunteers can support with a variety of duties, such as street shifts, social events, as well as administration and logistics.

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life, including those with lived experience of the challenges faced by our service users.

Here’s what one of our volunteers had to say:

“Volunteering with Change Grow Live has given me the opportunity to learn new skills, push boundaries and grow as a person. All in all, Change Grow Live invests so much into improving [our] knowledge and empowering us to do our role with confidence.”

Volunteer vacancies are posted on the Change Grow Live volunteering portal.
