Street Outreach Service - Brighton and Hove

Other support
Brighton and Hove City Council
If you need support because you are currently experiencing homelessness or are at risk of being homeless, you can fill in a form on the council website to speak to the Housing Advice Team and receive further support. After you have submitted the form, the team aims to respond within 10 working days.
The Housing Advice Team is based at Bartholomew House. If someone is in an emergency they can attend the customer service centre at Bartholomew House. Visit their page on the council website for more information.
Day centres
If you are currently experiencing homelessness or think you might experience this situation soon, you can receive support from one of the following day centres:
Antifreeze Initiative: Off The Fence's Antifreeze Team provides survival essentials, employment opportunities, mental health support and agency referrals to people rough sleeping and individuals temporarily housed. Their evening outreach and day centre is on Portland Road in Hove.
First Base Day Centre: BHT Sussex is a housing association and homeless charity that offers a range of services to support people who are sleeping rough or insecurely housed in the city. They help people to get off the streets, start realising their aspirations through work, learning and leisure and find a place they can call home.
