What is Individual Placement and Support?
Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is a type of employment support that can help you find job opportunities. An Employment Specialist will work with you to achieve your employment goals.
Together, we will identify your strengths and skills so you can focus on the types of jobs you are well suited to.
You will have access to:
- One-to-one support, advice and guidance tailored to your employment goals.
- Help to identify and secure the right job for you, whether part-time or full-time.
- CV writing, job application and interview support.
- Access to exclusive job opportunities and introductions to local employers.
- Support to source and match vacancies based on your skills, experience and aspirations.
- Benefits advice to help you understand how work may affect your finances and ensure you are better off in employment.
- Access to resources, training and funding, including support with interview clothing and travel costs where appropriate.
- Ongoing encouragement and practical support to help you stay focused on achieving your employment goals.
- In-work support, including regular meetings and continued guidance as you settle into your new role.
- Support to maintain employment, progress in your career or change jobs if your goals evolve.
- Assistance to balance work alongside your recovery and treatment, including support with treatment arrangements where needed.
You can get support from our IPS service if you are:
- Accessing structured treatment at Change Grow Live
- Interested in securing paid employment
- 18-65 years old
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Committed to achieving your employment goals, and willing to attend regular meetings with us
