Drug and Alcohol Service - Swindon

Intuitive Thinking Skills
We work with Intuitive Thinking Skills, a national, peer-led, lived-experience organisation. It works with service user, carers, volunteers and significant others to represent the voices and opinions of those who use the service.
Intuitive Thinking Skills:
- Empowers people to be involved in every aspect of the support they receive.
- Can support people with tasks such as complaints, advocacy, form-filling, benefits, IT support, telephone support, third-party referrals and debt advice.
- Is the voice of services users at events, including partnership forums and service improvement meetings.
What service user involvement looks like
It is important that people who have direct experience of Intuitive Thinking Skills' services play an active role in shaping how the organisation works. Intuitive Thinking Skills listens, acts and learns from feedback by the people who use the service.

Supporting someone else with their substance use
If someone you care about is struggling with drugs or alcohol, we can talk about ways you can help them and discuss the support options available.
You can chat to someone through our national web chat, or visit our wellbeing advice page for more information, advice and support.
