We help people stay safe and reduce harm from alcohol and drug use.

HaRRT is a small, friendly team made up of nurses and outreach support workers. We work from a van and travel to different areas across Renfrewshire to make our service as easy to access as possible.  Please get in touch with us to find out more details about our van locations and times on 0141 314 4364.

What we do

We provide fast, flexible support in the community, offering help when and where it’s needed most:

  • Support after a near-fatal overdose (NFO):
We offer advice, harm reduction, wound care, and injecting site checks to help people stay safe and reduce the risk of future harm.
  • Help in a crisis:
If someone is in urgent need related to alcohol or drugs, we can provide support at that moment.
  • Short-term support:
We help people from the point of referral through to their first treatment appointment, and connect them with other services if needed.
  • Follow-up and re-engagement:
If someone misses an appointment, we follow up to offer support and help them reconnect with services.
