How we’re tackling digital exclusion in Norfolk

During the pandemic, we’ve expanded the ways we support our service users online.

Our Foundations of Recovery programme has been rewritten to deliver over video calls. We’ve also been building our online Affected Others and Service User Peer Support communities. The flexibility and accessibility of online support are a positive we've taken from the pandemic.

We understand that some of the people who use are service users don’t currently have access to the equipment needed to join our online groups, and we still offer face-to-face appointments and groups where possible. But we want everyone to have the opportunity to enjoy online support.

With help from the National Lottery Community Fund, we’re now able to tackle this, and we offer tablet devices to service users who need them most.

Through the Digital Exclusion Support Scheme, we’re hoping to tackle the issue of digital exclusion amongst the people who use our service.
