On Monday 23 October, our Great Yarmouth hub opened its doors. Everyone was welcome to come and have a look around the building and ask questions about the support we provide, and and most visitors received training in how to use naloxone - the opiate overdose reversal drug.

It was amazing to see so many faces, be able to show everyone the work we do to support our community and help break the stigma surrounding drug and alcohol use.

Attendees included:

  • The Mayor of Great Yarmouth
  • iCaSH - Integrated Contraception and Sexual Health services
  • The Salvation Army food bank
  • Sally’s Store
  • Norfolk police
  • Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust
  • Great Yarmouth Borough Council, the rough sleeper team and the RISE team
  • Staff from James Paget University Hospital
  • The Minister of Norfolk Coastal Methodist Church
  • Staff from the Lighthouse Medical Centre
  • Local pharmacists

If you are an external agency and looking to visit any of our hubs, please contact us via email: [email protected].
