This year, like every year, we are celebrating Recovery Month! We want to celebrate and congratulate people in recovery and also get others talking about drug and alcohol use so they know recovery is possible too!
Drugs and Alcohol related issues occur in many families but often people do not know about support available.
Everyone’s journey and support needs are different, whether they are parents, children, siblings or caring for someone else struggling with alcohol or substance use.
Recovery Month recalls all these journeys and celebrates individuals and families for their endurance and resilience in moments of change and need.
Honouring Recovery Month takes us all one step closer to eradicating stigma when it comes to one of the biggest issues in our society, addiction.
On the 15th September 2025, we were at Newham's Community Health Fair. From educational talks, community stalls, workshops, and the chance to engage with onsite dentists, barbers, employment services and more, it was another successful event!
The 15th also saw a Graduation Ceremony for those who use our service, growing into the next step of their recovery. The Recovery Film Festival kindly hosted a moving screening for everyone to celebrate!
