Aspire - Havering
Women's space
Every Friday we host Women’s Day: a women only space in the recovery hub. This consists of a structured support group with a discussion topic, lunch and an afternoon activity such as candle gazing, meditation, bingo or arts and crafts.
Women’s Day provides a safe, supportive space for women to help address challenges, vulnerabilities, build motivation, self-esteem and foster a sense of belonging and hope.
11am – 3pm at the recovery hub every Friday.
Recovery Shop Reward Scheme
The Recovery Shop reward scheme lets you earn points by attending keywork sessions, groups and appointments with the clinical team, and then spend those points in our recovery shop. You can use the points to purchase a range of toiletries, household items and gifts. Speak to your keyworker for more information.
Swap to Stop Vaping Service
Swap to Stop is a free service for people accessing our services in Romford who are thinking about stopping smoking. Swapping to a vape is a safer alternative to cigarettes, and eligible service users can receive a free vape as part of this support.
A dedicated worker will sit down with you to talk about your current smoking habits and the support available, including providing a free vape and advice tailored to you. Speak to your Recovery Coordinator for more information and to access the service.
Young people
Wize Up Havering is a free and confidential service for young people. They support anyone aged 18 and under who is concerned about their own or somebody else’s drug or alcohol use.
