We proudly participated in Cambridge Pride along with Cambridgeshire Recovery Service, held on 17 June 2023. The event was a celebration of equality and diversity, and we were thrilled to join the festivities in support of the LGBTQ+ community.
At our stall at the community hive, visitors enjoyed our activities such as trying on our 'beer goggles to simulate the effects of alcohol, and learning about staying safe on a night out. We distributed free anti-spiking bottle stoppers and introduced our delicious non-alcoholic Nojitos to the public.
We engaged with hundreds of visitors, discussing drug and alcohol support services that we offer and receiving positive feedback.
Participating in Cambridge Pride was a fantastic experience, and we look forward to attending the event again in 2024. We stand in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community, opposing all forms of hate and discrimination.
