Training for GPs
We offer advice and support for GPs with patients who are dependent on prescribed medications or on alcohol.
This includes assessment and treatment. The medicines we cover are opiate-based and painkillers. We can also offer advice on non-opioid based medicines, including benzodiazepines, pregabalin and anti-depressants.
Training for professionals
Our drug and alcohol training for professionals in Barking and Dagenham covers a range of topics, including:

- Awareness of alcohol and drug misuse
- Trends in drug and alcohol use
