Change, grow, live (previously called Crime Reduction Initiatives - CRI) has an excellent track record of taking over and improving services that support people who need help with addiction, domestic abuse, homelessness and other issues.
We know that the transition from an old service provider to a new one has the potential to be stressful for service users. We will always prioritise the quality of your care whether we’re taking on or withdrawing from your local service. We work hard to keep continuity in your one-to-one care, as well as ensuring that there is no interruption to any prescriptions you might be on.
Will services continue as normal?
We aim to ensure that services continue as normal as far as possible. We work closely with your existing provider and the service user group to make sure the transition is as smooth as possible and you are kept up to date with any changes that may affect you.
What will happen to my script?
We know that it is important that you get your medication on time and we will ensure that there is no disruption to your script. Your prescription will be generated and available for collection as normal. Wherever possible this will be from your usual pharmacist. If not, it will be from a different place not too far away from where you pick it up at present.
Will I keep the same key worker?
Where possible, you will keep the same key worker through the period of transition to the new service. Moving forwards, the new system may involve more of a team approach to service delivery. A recovery worker will help you plan your own recovery and you will access support from different people along your journey as and when you need it. This will include involvement with peer mentors and recovery champions who will help you access your local recovery community. You will be updated about any changes to your support as early as possible.

In the run up to your service transferring to change, grow, live there will usually be opportunities to meet with us face-to-face to ask questions and find out more about our approach.
We will always communicate with you about changes to your service as soon as possible, and if you’re concerned about anything at all please speak to a member of your current service staff, or contact us.
