About the service

CGL Manchester is a recovery focused service, committed to supporting people to achieve goals and become drug free; we are aware this can take different routes and timescales for people.

We work with service users and our partner agencies delivering individual treatment plans and support that will help service users achieve their goals. Our services include assessment, treatment, information and advice and referral on.

Our aim is to support people to maintain their recovery within their community.

What we do and how we do it

We provide a full range of treatment and recovery interventions for people who require services for their drug or alcohol use. We do this by providing

  • Brief Interventions
  • Prescribing
  • Community detoxification
  • Referral for in-patient detox
  • Drop in’s
  • Informal and structured group programmes
  • Linking into mutual aid
  • One to one sessions
  • Education and employment support
  • Health assessments 
  • Recovery services on site

You can either attend an open access session Monday-Friday mornings at Bradnor Point, Bradnor Road, Sharston Industrial Estate M22 4TF, or ring 0161 945 8772 for an appointment

Other sources of local support

The main entrance to Bradnor Point is at front of the building which is situated at the end of Bradnor Road at the junction with Paston Road. There is on road parking around the building.

Buses from Manchester Piccadilly are the number 43 Stagecoach bus (every 10 minutes) and the number 105 Stagecoach bus (every half an hour).  Get off on Sharston Road and cross over; Bradnor Road is the first road on the right. Walk to the end of Bradnor Road and you will see Bradnor Point at the junction with Paston Road.

From the bus station at Wythenshawe Civic Centre the 105 Stagecoach bus runs every half an hour. Get off on Sharston Road, walk back on yourself and take the first right on Bradnor Road.

From Manchester Airport the 43 Stagecoach bus runs every 10 minutes. Get off on Sharston Road, walk back on yourself and take the first right on Bradnor Road.
