Careers & volunteering
Change, grow, live (CGL) offers a range of stimulating and rewarding paid and volunteer opportunities, with the potential to really make a difference to people’s lives.
Whether in a paid or volunteer role you will benefit from working in a professional and supportive environment with plenty of opportunities to acquire the skills, experience and competency you need to advance and develop your career within change, grow, live.
We value individual creativity and initiative and you will be encouraged to contribute your ideas to the development of services, whatever your role.
At CGL we have over 4,000* paid members of staff. Paid staff receive a competitive salary, 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days per annum) and a generous contributory pension scheme. All staff have opportunities for personal and professional development, including internal and external training courses and time off to pursue relevant higher education qualifications.
We are an equal opportunities employer and have been awarded Investors in People.
Volunteers work in many of our services - we currently have just under 1,000 volunteers, peer mentors and students working with us. They bring a range of skills enabling us to support more people and to provide additional services.
Volunteering benefits our service users and provides opportunities for individuals to use their existing skills to support our services and also develop new skills to advance their careers.
