About the service
The West Sussex Young Persons Substance Misuse Service (WSYPSMS) offers flexible, confidential treatment and support for young people aged up to 24 years. Young people are offered appointments at a venue which suits them and drop-ins are held around the county, including FindItOut Centres.
The service is part of the West Sussex Drug & Alcohol Wellbeing Network.

The Service addresses all aspects of the young person’s life and works with the Early Help Continuum of Need.

We will contact you to arrange an appointment. You can ask another professional or an adult to help you with this process, or you can do this yourself.
Making an appointment
You will have a named worker and their mobile phone details, and you can agree the best way for the two of you to stay in touch.
Making a referral:
Referrals can be made by anyone, with the young person’s agreement whenever possible. Please use the referral form and email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Referrals are allocated within 5 days of receipt when someone will be in touch.

The service is open Mon to Fri 9-5, but we are a flexible service and can support you outside these hours when needed.
