How we can help

We are here to support you. We are a free and confidential service and there is a range of ways we can support you.   

If you want to cut down or stop your use of drugs and alcohol, we can help. We will listen to your needs, and help you choose the best options for you. 

We will work with you to set goals and create a treatment plan that suits you. Your goals might be a reduction, abstinence, or detox. 

We help residents of the Borough of Ealing who live in the UB (Southall) postcode area, who are over 18 and who are using or have used alcohol and or drugs in the last 3 months.  

 

Your treatment options

We have lots of treatment options to support you. This includes:

  • One-to-one support sessions  
  • Groupwork – online and face to face  
  • Medically assisted treatment including Buvidal  
  • Testing for Blood Borne Viruses such as Hepatitis B, C and HIV   
  • Counselling  
  • Naloxone  
  • Onward referrals to a range of specialist services

Who we are

We work with a number of agencies to support the residents of the Borough of Ealing who are experiencing difficulties with drugs and/or alcohol. 

We work with the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and Build on Belief (BoB). We work closely with other agencies across the Borough of Ealing including West London NHS Trust and the Women's Wellness Zone

Build on Belief are led by people who use services. They are part of the rise family, and operate from our central hub.

If you would like to refer yourself or another person to the service, please complete our online referral form here. When you complete the form, please provide as much information as possible as this will help the team to process the referral as quickly as possible.

The Build on Belief Service User Group runs groups and drop-in sessions at our West Ealing site, information can be found on their website.

This group is for our Polish speaking clients, where each session designed to help people address their alcohol use and explore their relationship with alcohol and how to implement change related goals.

This session runs from our West Ealing site at 99-103 The Broadway, West Ealing, Uxbridge Road, W13 9BP.

This relapse prevention group builds on positive changes already made to help you develop awareness, tools, and strategies to maintain those changes.

This group takes place in our Central Hub and is by invite only. If you’re interested in joining, please speak to your Recovery Coordinator.

This is a 12-week abstinence programme. This course helps to increase well-being and personal growth.

This group is designed to support the Polish community who are no longer drinking and provides tools on how to sustain long term abstinence.

The session takes place in our Central Hub.

In Partnership with Mind, Rise are hosting a monthly specialist carers group, offering all carers of persons with a mental health diagnosis combined with misuse of substances or alcohol.

This session will provide you with an opportunity to talk with others going through similar situations. If you care for someone who has both a mental health diagnosis and who is experiencing challenges with drug or alcohol, then this group can offer you the support you may not be able to get from other carer groups.

The group can be accessed in-person or via Teams on the last Tuesday of each month from 5:30-6:30pm. For more information, please visit Mind’s website.

This session is run jointly between Rise and a Polish AA facilitator. The group is open to any Polish clients who want to achieve or maintain abstinence.

The power of the breath and how it can reduce anxiety, induce clear thinking, and increase overall well-being.

This group is for people preparing to go through the detoxification process.  We facilitate detox at inpatient detox units and within the community supported by our clinical team.  Preparation for this process is a key factor towards a positive outcome.

Starting your journey

We accept referrals from all sources. You may wish to refer yourself or a professional, such as your GP, can refer you to the service directly. You can complete a referral online here, or you can call our team on 02088435900 and a friendly member of our team can discuss and complete a referral form with you over the phone.   

We will process your referral as quickly as we can, and someone will contact you to arrange an appointment. Your appointment can take place over the phone, via video call or a face-to-face appointment can also be offered.   

Interpreters are also available in most languages to support you through the process.

The West Hub in Ealing

Your first appointment

When you visit the service for the first time, a friendly member of staff will greet you in reception. If you're waiting for a group or appointment, you'll wait in our reception. There are places to sit and leaflets to read. If you have any specific needs, please let us know before your appointment, just give us a call at 02088435900.  

If your appointment is over the phone, a Recovery Worker will contact you at the arranged time at the number you have provided.   

The assessment process can take up to an hour so please do allow time for this. Our Recovery Worker will go through an assessment with you to discuss your needs and will work with you to set goals and create a treatment plan that suits you.  

The West Hub does not have parking, however, there is chargeable on-street parking.
