Health Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy Service

group therapy blue

The Health Independent Domestic Violence Advocacy Service is a free and confidential domestic abuse service for adults and young people aged 16 or over in East Sussex.

We support victims of domestic abuse and violence (including sexual violence, honour based violence, FGM, forced marriage and stalking) by intimate partners (including ex partners) or family members.

The service operates in partnership with health professionals based at GP Surgeries in Hastings and Rother, Eastbourne, Hailsham and Seaford, as well as Conquest Hospital in Hastings, to ensure that specialist support can be given to patients who disclose that they are experiencing or have recently experienced domestic violence or abuse.
