Holly is 1625’s Education Lead, you will find Holly in schools, colleges and universities delivering our interactive workshops. Holly has a background in teaching and is passionate about effective drugs education. Holly also has experience in working in the night-time economy, supporting with security and safety, and looking after those who find themselves vulnerable on nights out.

Luke is 1625’s Outreach Lead, you will find Luke out and about in the community, providing advice and info. Luke has worked with young people and young adults experiencing issues with drugs and alcohol for almost a decade, so has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Luke is passionate about harm reduction and safety and has spent many of his summers providing welfare at music festivals across the UK.

 

 

photo of bethBeth – Volunteering Coordinator

Beth is 1625’s Volunteering Coordinator. Beth is responsible for recruiting, training, and looking after our volunteers, students on placement, and peer mentors within the service. Beth has worked in drug and alcohol services for over 5 years, picking up lots of skills and experience to pass on to our volunteers. Beth is passionate about learning and development and prides herself in supporting volunteers into paid employment across the sector.

Lauren is 1625’s Service Manager. Being responsible for all things 1625 means Lauren is usually found in the office or at events, doing the less exciting, but important ‘behind the scenes’ work. Lauren has worked with young people and young adults for over a decade, most of her career being spent working in drug and alcohol services, with a special interest in harm reduction. Lauren leads on Change, Grow, Live’s work with young adults, and is passionate about improving services for 16-25’s.
