Change Grow Live work alongside Brook to deliver an integrated Sexual Health and Substance Misuse Service for young people across Southwark.
Brook has 50 years’ experience of delivering effective interventions and supporting young people with specialist sexual health services in Southwark. Change Grow Live delivers substance misuse interventions to young people within the borough. The integrated team is dual trained in minimum requirements for sexual health and substance misuse interventions, advice and signposting.
The service (HYP – Healthy Young People) supports a mixed model of community outreach, working in symmetry with existing community health services, ensuring key consistent messages are reaching young people. We take a holistic approach to delivery and offer a broad range of universal, targeted and specialist interventions, including:
Education/ prevention workshops
Targeted and specialist structured interventions
Transitional age pathways
Social/ wellbeing activities
We are looking to recruit a part time Young Person’s Resilience worker. The successful candidate should have experience of multi-agency work as the post calls for close co-working with a diverse range of stakeholders and partners working together across Southwark. In addition the successful candidate should have experience/understanding of working within the drug and alcohol field, specifically with young people.
