Change Grow Live is a borough-wide drug and alcohol recovery service working with people throughout their treatment journey; from engagement, through to treatment, prescribing to aftercare. Change Grow Live offers a wide range of interventions to Thurrock residents and their families and partners who are experiencing difficulties with drug or alcohol use.
We are now looking to recruit a Young Persons Recovery Volunteer to support in the day to day running of the service and offer advice and information to young people who are using drugs and alcohol. The role will include assisting the Recovery Workers with group work facilitation and workshops and Completing initial and comprehensive assessments (with training and support).
Your duties will also include day to day office duties such as answering the phone, supporting the team with administration and comprehensive recorded keeping.
