Change Grow Live Waltham Forest is a free and confidential drug and alcohol service for adults in the London Borough of Waltham Forest.  We provide a range of recovery focused interventions designed to meet the needs of those experiencing substance misuse and or alcohol issues. At the service we provide a structured day programme, substitute prescribing, needle exchange, counselling, housing support, benefits and finance advice, education advice, training and access to employment. We work with a number of other services and providers to provide the best possible service to our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the team at CGL Waltham Forest, Recovery Support Volunteers will undertake various duties which enhance or support the delivery of the service. The role of Recovery Support Volunteer will be directed and supported by a supervisor, supporting service users to fulfil a recovery focused journey. This will be achieved by assisting them to access a range of services identified through the development and implementation of individual recovery plans. A Recovery Support Volunteer will represent, assist and support the project in the delivery of the service it provides by meeting their roles and responsibilities criteria.
