An exciting opportunity has arisen within the borough of Newham to recruit a Volunteer Receptionist to support the work of this team.
The post holder will provide an efficient and professional reception service for the Newham Drug and Alcohol Service maintaining effective appointment systems for different branches of the service and ensuring all calls and visits from service users, outside agencies and staff are dealt with promptly and courteously. To maintain and update the web-based information database as required, in a timely and accurate manner. To process archiving of old files and paperwork in line with CGL policy and the Data Protection Act. To receive and process all referrals into the service. To manage all relevant administrative and housekeeping within the Newham Drug and Alcohol Service premises. The role requires high level organisation, strong communication skills and an ability to prioritise and work independently as well as contribute effectively to the team requirements.
