A rewarding opportunity has arisen to join the 1625 Team in Derbyshire as an Education Worker, we are a harm reduction service providing support to 16 – 25 year olds in the Schools, Colleges and Universities. As an Education worker you will be going to Derbyshire based providers and engaging with young people about drug and alcohol use.
You will be always be working with another member of our team, your main responsibility will be to actively engage young people and talk to them about drug and alcohol use. This will be via activity workshops in classrooms or a stall based approach, using your own vehicle or public transport to get to places throughout Derbyshire is essential, all travel expenses are reimbursed.
All volunteers will receive a training package delivered by our training and development team and volunteer coordinator. This training is the same high quality training that our staff also have access to.
