CGL are looking to recruit an experienced Specialty Doctor for their substance misuse treatment services in Nottinghamshire.
The post holder will be an integral part of the team delivering comprehensive clinical intervention and prescribing clinics across hubs and community locations, you will be responsible for delivering excellent care for service users affected by substance misuse issues.
You will have extensive experience of working in the substance misuse field and will play a key role in the assessment and on-going delivery of high quality clinical interventions.
You will be committed to working alongside a multi-disciplinary team in taking a positive, holistic and empowering approach to your work with service users, enabling them to build their own recovery capital and to support them to move into long term sustained recovery. This will be achieved by delivering appropriate clinical interventions, utilising a range of approaches and working effectively with partner agencies.
The post-holder will contribute to the service in ensuring service - users consistently receive high quality services that adhere to the best practice guidelines and achieve high professional standards. They will be required to actively contribute to the overall performance of the service to ensure that contractual output targets are achieved. They will be required to record and input client data and information in order that the service operates within contractual, administrative and financial requirements.
The post holder will need to have a flexible approach to their work as some late evenings will be required.
The successful candidate will be able to access a well-developed monthly CPD program, receive regular structured supervision and be fully supported in the appraisal and revalidation structure. All doctors within CGL receive weekly protected CPD and are encouraged and supported to get involved in clinical audit and research.
