An exciting opportunity has arisen for a candidate to take up a Health Care Assistant role, specialising in health and wellbeing interventions at Peterborough Aspire.
CGL Aspire Peterborough is an integrated end-to-end drug and alcohol treatment and recovery service which offers a wide range of pharmacological and psychosocial interventions to Peterborough residents, their families and significant others who are experiencing issues with drugs and/or alcohol use.
The Health Care Assistant will ensure undertake initial basic healthcare assessments and record in electronic and paper based case notes as required. Report outcomes to Health and Wellbeing Nurse and/or Lead Nurse. Initiate, complete and follow up on referrals to specialist care under the supervision of the Health and Wellbeing Nurse and/or Lead Nurse
This post will also require the successful candidate to engage in training as identified by the Lead Nurse in order to be signed off as competent with a view to completing BBV vaccinations / testing and health and wellbeing checks where required.
As directed by the Lead Nurse, the successful candidate will be expected to receive supervision as per CGL policy and work within a multi-disciplinary team.
