CGL Coventry is a fully integrated recovery focused substance misuse service working to provide drug and alcohol treatment. The service delivers a range of services – from open access, harm reduction, medically assisted recovery and specific recovery interventions, group work and criminal justice interventions.
The Service comprises of a range of services including Key Work and Clinical Co-ordination, Psycho-Social Interventions, group work, family work and complex needs.
We have a rewarding opportunity to join the Coventry Adult Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service as a Group Co-Facilitator Volunteer to assist our teams in the delivery of high quality, responsive recovery focused interventions through a range of group work. We engage clients with drug and alcohol issues to promote and facilitate positive recovery outcomes.
Volunteers bring a range of skills and experience that complement the work we do. It also provides an opportunity for individuals to use existing skills to support our services, develop new skills and gain experience in the health and social care sector, specifically in the substance use field. We also offer volunteers access to the same high quality training as our staff in addition to ongoing support through regular supervision.
