An exciting opportunity has arisen within My Recovery Tameside Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services for enthusiastic, dedicated and outcome focused Recovery Workers to join our successful team. The role will require you to work with service users to initiate recovery from drug and or alcohol dependence, to enable service users to build their own recovery capital and to support them into long term sustained recovery and social integration.

The role will involve engagement, assessments of the service user’s needs, case management and motivational interventions. The post-holder will deliver structured groups, harm minimisation, advice and information and support regarding relapse prevention strategies.

A strong eye for detail in both the inputting and collation of data is key to the successful candidate as well as clear evidence of your drive to support individuals to achieve their potential.
