M Richards has worked at CGL since 2008. She provides a strategic lead on service development, quality, finance and performance across a wide range of services. These services include supported housing and street services, domestic abuse services and children and young people’s services in Brighton and Hove, East and West Sussex and West Kent.
M Richards has held memberships in the West Sussex Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB), the East Sussex LSCB, the Safeguarding Adults Board and the National Alcohol and Families Alliance. She has also held the position of Home Office accredited independent Domestic Homicide Review Chair.
Her roles have coincided with her particular interests in support services for children, young people and families – this includes setting up and managing women and children’s services in London’s HIV sector, a Home Start Scheme and a range of children and young people’s services in Brighton and Hove and East Sussex.
