Charity has worked at Change Grow Live since 2011. She provides strategic and operational leadership to Change Grow Live services across the South West of England and Wales. This involves leading a team of Services Managers to deliver the best possible interventions to a wide range of service users, in line with the CGL values. She also supports the strategic growth and development of the organisation in the production of tenders and the implementation of new services.
Charity also holds responsibility for the sponsorship of Change Grow Live’s 23 Young People's services as well as Volunteering and Peer Mentoring within the organisation.
Charity has worked for over twenty years within a community setting, both in the voluntary and statutory sector.
She has experience of working to promote social inclusion, working with hard-to-reach communities, families in crisis, homelessness, supported accommodation, anti-social behaviour, primary health care, older people, and adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues.
Charity joined Change Grow Live five years ago, and has managed a range of services including Homelessness Services, Young People’s Services and Substance Misuse Treatment Services.
Charity has a strong commitment to social justice, and believes that the Change Grow Live concept is truly aspirational for service users and staff. She is fully aligned with the organisation’s values, especially with regard to placing service users at the heart of everything.
Charity is also passionate about the organisation's capacity for innovation, creativity, service user engagement, and its focus on enabling people to make long term positive changes.
