Piccadilly Project & Alcohol Assessment Hub - Bradford

Piccadilly Project is a free and confidential alcohol service for adults (including offenders), families, carers and affected others in Bradford.

We provide advice, information and support for adults living in the Bradford district concerned about their alcohol use and looking to make positive changes in their lives. The service offers 1 to 1 support, a Structured Recovery Programme, access to Mutual Aid, support for concerned others, a group work programme and volunteer and peer mentor opportunities.

We provide a non-judgmental and welcoming environment where you can talk to a skilled worker. Staff and volunteers work with you establish personal goals whether your preferred choice is cutting down to a lower risk level or moving to full abstinence.

We work in close partnership with other specialist alcohol services, hospitals and GPs where appropriate, to enable access to a full range of detoxification, rehabilitation and other medical support as required.

What do our service users say about us?

“When I first started attending service I could not see to the end of the day let alone the next week. I started weekly appointments with my keyworker focusing on reducing my drinking. In the appointments we would look at where I wanted to be and how I would get there. My worker forgot about my bad days and focused on the good days, they then became more often. I started to believe in myself through the support of my worker and the service. My drinking reduced; I started to add structure to each day.”Really looking forward to the next group.”
