Newcastle Integrated Psychosocial, Recovery Support and Care Coordination Service is a free and confidential drug and alcohol service for adults in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
The service is the first point of entry to substance misuse services in Newcastle. We provide a number of treatment options aimed at your specific needs. Working with CGL you can access information and advice and a dedicated recovery coordinator who will provide motivational interventions to help you find the motivation to stop drinking or using.
We deliver behaviour change interventions that can help you understand why you use substances and how to move away from using them. We can also provide interventions aimed at increasing your skills, knowledge and experience as well as increasing confidence and improving wellbeing. We can also provide support to access social networks, mutual aid, housing, employment and family support as well as volunteering opportunities.
