Camden Routes off The Streets

Camden Routes off The Street (RTS) is a service for people who are rough sleeping or involved in street activity in the borough. We deliver street outreach and a building-based hub, supporting individuals to access the services they need to rebuild their lives away from the street.

We work with:

  • People who are rough sleeping
  • Anyone who uses drugs or drinks alcohol on the streets
  • People who beg for money
  • People involved in street-based prostitution.

For more information about our service, blogs and updates please visit the Camden Routes off The Streets.

What we do:

Through working in partnership with a wide variety of organisations, our outreach team and hub based workers are able to work creatively with service users to establish individually tailored plans to enable people to get away from their street based lifestyle. This means that we:

  • Move people who are rough sleeping into accommodation.
  • Support people who have become street homeless in London, who originate from elsewhere, to return home in a planned and supported way.
  • Help drug and alcohol users to access treatment.
  • Support people with mental as well as physical health problems to get the medical help they need.
  • Stop anti-social behaviour on the streets of Camden through partnership work with Camden Council and the police alongside other enforcement agencies.
  • Our team includes specialist workers who work closely with local hostels and supported housing units to support people to maintain accommodation, avoid eviction to the street and reduce street activity.

  • From our building in Greenland St (The Hub), we will, alongside our partners, provide 1:1 support sessions, showers, clothes washing facilities, computers, legal advice, benefits advice and more.

The address of the hub is:

6-8 Greenland Street
Camden Town
London
NW1 0ND

Telephone number: 0207 8337970

It's opening times are:

Weekdays: 9am - 5pm

Wednesday opening times: 12pm - 5pm

We also have a number of specialist workers who work closely with local hostels and supported housing units to support their clients to maintain accommodation, avoid eviction to the street and reduce street activity.
